Snow day of they year, fersure.

8.5 feet of light snow in one week and bluebird sky makes for an epic day on the mountain. It could only have been better if there were less people and Heather and/or David came along.

There was an SUV wrong-side-up in the middle of the street on the way back to our hotel. The people looked ok but their stuff (including two surfboards (I can’t imagine what they would need those for this time of year)) was strewn all about the street. We slowed as quickly as we could on the slippery ice, navigated around their things, and continued on our way. There were already lots of people helping out and the police were on their way so we didn’t stop.

There is something to be said about sitting in a hot tub and letting the snow fall onto your bare back.

It was pow pow pow. It is snowing right now, for more freshies tomorrow.
