The leaves are falling.
I went about my life as normal today. I bought some shampoo, I signed up for the intramural swim meet, I went to my class, I prepared some bootleg trades, I did a substantial amount of homework in Heather’s room, I ate dinner, I did some math studying in my room, and now I think I will read my sky magazine. It is a special on skiing in the northwest.
The leaves of many trees and plants are no longer collecting sunlight and using it to make sugar. Instead the trees are pinching off the leaves and they are falling to the ground, leaving stacks and mounds of red and brown leaves everywhere.
