Perusing the trip reports on Turns All Year this week, I came across this one. The author claims his trip to Vesper Peak was the best ski tour of his life. The weather was looking cloudy for this weekend and the weather on Thursday was looking stellar. Additionally Vesper Peak is difficult to time between avalanche conditions and road access. The stars were aligned so I skipped work and headed to Vesper Peak with Dave.

We had a fantastic day. Stupendous views (we could even see Seattle) and fun skiing. We still had energy once we reached the top, so we skied off the west side a bit. In all it was a 5500 vf day. Here are the pictures I took.
