Last week, even compared to other weeks, was a busy week at work. So busy in fact that we got Friday off for working so busily. Coincidentally, Heather got Friday off as well so we made the most of it.
Thursday night we drove down to White Pass, the only mountainous part of the state that had remotely decent weather last weekend. We hiked in with our headlamps to Indian Creek Meadows and set up tent. The next day we hiked up Tumac Mt. It was a muddy and buggy hike, but we succeeded to have great views...of clouds. We spent another night at Indian Creek Meadows before hiking out on Saturday.
All in all it may have not had the best awesomeness/effort ratio, but considering that it was raining everywhere else and we had the time, it was a lot of fun.
We continued on from White Pass to Coeur D'lane. Where some good friends from med school got married. We spent a relaxing weekend reading books in the sun and enjoying their wedding.
And Monday, after a 4.5 day weekend, we came back home.
Not too many awesome pictures, I might post a few some day, but don't hold your breath.
